Pizza Pie-er
Pizza
Pizza Pie-er sent me a great direct marketing piece which was basically their menu on card stock. Being an engineer, I liked their pizza assembly strategy. Pick a size, pick a crust, pick a sauce, and add toppings. I ordered the 7″ multi-grain crust with puttanesca sauce, onions, mushrooms, and pepperoni. I had a coupon for a salad so I ordered the greek salad. They said 45 minutes, but showed up in 30. The pizza was hot and delicious. I love crispy, slightly burned onions on pizza, and the crust was tasty too. The salad was forgettable and I did not even finish it. Limp iceberg lettuce doesn’t do it for me. All in all a good quick meal. I’ll forego the salad next time.
$11.90, but $15 with tip for delivery guy.

That pizza place sounds amazing — I wish there was somewhere around here where I could get such a customized pizza.
It’s worthy of noting, however, that it’s still a far cry from the ultimate pizza place (see Seinfeld for details).
