Have you tried following the Calendar Link. I try to put only the most interesting events in it. Coming up is the opening of Boston Community Boating, The 48 hour film festival, and the Tacto Fashion Show at Avalon. Take a look.

I used great open source software called phpicalendar for dispaying the events. It looks great and has a built in rss feed. I edit the calandar locally with Apple ICal. Nice of Apple to follow the Calandaring Standards that make this interchange possible.
