Tax Day - Candidates Pay Themselves
Bush and Kerry made some big contributions this year to the national coffers
- Bush made $822,126 and paid $227,490 in taxes
- Kerry made $395,338 and paid $90,575 in taxes
I find it interesting that the taxes public officials pay help to pay their own salaries as government employees.

that is really funny/odd . . . i wonder how the break down goes - like what percentage and how much actually gets recycled back into their own pay
