Help! I’m stuck in the suburbs of Cleveland, OH with no access to any restaurant that isn’t located in hundreds of other places around the country. So far, my chain hopping experience has taken me to Bahama Breeze, and Champps. Bahama Breeze was OK, but the staff was way too perky for it to be natural. The corporate presence was felt, as we were asked to fill out a 20 question survey about the temperature of our food. I had to wonder if the staff personality were the result of some focus group findings. I was reminded of the scene in Office Space… there were defiinately 15 items of flair. Champps was mediocre at best. I got a salad that was ovbiously prepared in advance and kept in the fridge somewhere. On deck: Chilis, TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays. etc.
