In-N-Out Burger
No trip out west would be complete without a trip to In-N-Out Burger. These are peppered all over the place in L.A. and Vegas and Palm Springs… but when you see one, take your opportunity. They are not quite as ubiquitous as, say, McDonalds. When you really want one, you may not see one. I can remember the first time I had an In-N-Out Burger. The people I was with ended up calling the In and Out Burger 800 number in order to find the closest one to our location so we could get ours. So what makes someone so desparate for a burger that they call corporate? These burgers and fries are good. In fact, that’s all they do. No chicken fingers. No Salads. You can get a burger for $1.55 or a cheeseburger for $1.75. And the fries arrive on the premisis as whole potatoes that are peeled and chopped on site. Good stuff! Top it off with a chocolate shake and you’re in 50’s-fare heaven.
