i was charged $10,000 in sales commissions from Merrill-Lynch in 1998 i complained and was told that they would put me into a maximum of $1,000 account for the next year . i asked for a retroactive adjustment and they refused .i am now a happy T.D.Waterhouse client with a maximum $300/ year fee .the practice of overcharging is a Jewish policy(based on personal involvement) and i have challanged most of these type of charges as i encounter them . one very consistant example is a new car list of charges . i came across a e.c.p.f.This is explained as "employee christmas party fee " and i obviously refused to pay the charge .
