Lex and the City
You have to give credit where credit is due. By all appearances, my little sis has had a successful launch here in big-city Boston. She’s got a great new job, has started school, and has moved in to her Back Bay digs on Newbury St. As I can attest, this city has been known to be unyielding, and has sent some back home to live with mommy and daddy. It’s not New York, but if you can make it here, you are doing well. Alexis has made her own way here and is off to a great start. It’s so good to have family nearby and it’s even better to see them do well.
Well done sis!

Sad how things change.

Change is sometimes a sad thing. It’s like Ying and Yang. Cuz when you think about it, what’s really changed? You still have that same awesome “big brother.” What’s changing is the choices you’re making. Choices that came about from the experiences you had while in Boston. You took care of yourself. You learned that you could make it in an unyielding city. What an accomplishment! What changes you make now are like turning a page in the book of life to the next chapter. It’s called living. And remember …
“When you reach the end of your life, the point is not to arrive looking rested and refined, but to slide in sideways saying, ‘Wow, what a ride!’”
