Ivan Moves On
NBC news radio reports no casualties in the Caymans. I cannot raise Dave by cell phone, but I assume his cell phone battery has merely run out. I know that there are power problems on the island, so this makes sense.

Dave called home ona public phone this morning. Said the whole area was completely devastated. His apartment is full of sand and saltwater, and his Jeep is totalled. He plans to leave as soon as possible because the pool is OK, other than being filled with saltwater, but the strctures around it have been either destroyed or damaged severly. Due to the lack of power and the airport being under 2ft of water, it will be a couple days minimum before he can get a flight out.
