Check Out the New Stream
Mobog and I just were not getting along. The place is a little creepy and I didn’t like creepy people commenting on my photos. So I decided to rehost my “Stream of Consciousness” sidebar on flickr.com. Flickr is a class act and has some good features that any nerd would like. For the non-nerd, there is also an fascinating social phenomenon at flickr.com involving “tags”. You can designate any photo with a category of your choosing by “tagging” it. You can then see others who have tagged their photos in the same way. For example, when I take a photo in Boston, I might give the photo a “Boston” tag. Then I can see other people who have tagged their photos with “Boston”.
One can also set up groups. Consider, say, a wedding group, that allows all the guests to upload and share their photos from the big day.
Nerdy Features:
- upload from cameraphone (key for “Stream of Consciousness” concept”)
- php compatible
- blog integration
- Picture Privacy & Security
- Support for RSS

Where is the “Stream”? I cannot see it on my browser? Still working out the kinks of the change?

If you don’t see anything… it means my minds has gone blank…. or maybe I am unconscious???
I’m pretty sure it works. I’ve tested it in every browser I can get my hands on. Could be that flickr.com was down.
Anyone else having a problem?
