Buzzword Alert

This just in from the dykstraNet Buzzword Alert System:

There is a new buzzword:

lifecaching - v. To record all the various events and happenings of one’s life.

Blogs are an example of recording one’s journal entries. Podcasts make an audio record that you existed on the planet. 43things records your goals. How about recording everything we’ve seen. Or everything we’ve written. Or everything we’ve heard. It is not far off.

Of course we will need lots and lots of storage space for all this stuff. Currently a liftetime’s worth of photos or a lifetime’s worth of conversations would fit on one terabyte. Currently that costs about $200. This is getting cheaper (and taking up less space) all the time.

Maybe if you do enough lifecaching, you’ll be eligible for some appropriate lifecoaching… which is what google thinks you mean when you search for “lifecaching”.

Jamiejoan is on the cutting edge with her milestonecaching.

UPDATE: You can record everthing that you eat at fitday.com. It even counts your calories.
